Contact and scope
This policy explains how ABC containers handles personal data when you browse this website or request a quotation. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@abc-containers.de. Our displayed location is Germany.
Information we process
When you submit an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, optional company name, message and selected products and quantities. These details are stored in our protected enquiry administration. Do not include sensitive personal information that is not needed for your request.
The hosting service, TransIP, may process technical access and security logs, including IP addresses, request times, requested URLs and browser information. A session identifier supports your quote selection, form security and administrator authentication.
Why we use your information
We use enquiry details to respond, prepare quotations and take steps towards a contract at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For enquiries made on behalf of a business and for maintaining site security, we rely on legitimate interests in handling business communications and protecting the service (Article 6(1)(f)). Where records must be retained by law, the basis is a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)). We do not use your enquiry as permission to send unrelated marketing.
Recipients and external content
Access is limited to authorised personnel and service providers needed for hosting, communications and fulfilling your request. Where necessary, we may share delivery details with a transport or installation provider. We do not sell enquiry data.
Some product images are loaded from mbh-container.de. Opening a page with those images can send your IP address and browser request information to that image host. Its own privacy practices apply to those requests. This website does not include analytics or advertising scripts.
Retention
We retain enquiries while handling your request and for as long as needed for follow-up, legal claims or mandatory record-keeping. We review whether records remain necessary; enquiries are not automatically deleted by the website. Applicable statutory retention periods may prevent immediate deletion of contract or accounting records.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority. Email us to exercise your rights; we may ask for information needed to verify your identity.
